CH GREYFLAX GUINEVEREGuinevere is one of the 'Knights of the round table' litter out of Champion Kilbourne Celtic to Hammonds and Champion Kilbourne Tiffannie, her nature is typical of all her pups, happy, placid with a very waggy tails. We have had a lot of fun in the show ring with her. Birmingham National was her 1st show at just 6 months, shewon B.P. from 4 puppy classes under Pat Allwright and from then on we never looked back. She was top Deerhound puppy 2003, won her first ticket and BOB at Crufts at the tender age of 28 months under Mrs Nenne Rundsten. Sweden. and went on to win Group 4 in the hound group under Judge Denise Courtney. We thought she would be too much of a baby for the 'big ring', how wrong we were, she loved every minute of it. Her second ticket came from Mrs Sheena Reynolds, she has since won 3 reserve CC's. One of Guinevere's brother is Greyflax Lancelot, Jeff and Jenny Grimshaw came to us for a pet deerhound and just like ourselves all those years ago have been bitten by the deerhound/show bug. Greyflax Black Knight her brother went to live with our friends Kev and Vicky Kershaw as a 25th wedding aniversary present, he is loved and spoilt. very handsome and can be seen at Lodge Park and the breed show every year and he is called Archie.She wasn't at Crufts this year as she has just whelped her 1st litter of 9 puppies sired by Kilbourne Nimrod. Mother and pups are doing really well and hopefully Guinny will be out again later in the year. Guinns sister Greyflax Lady of the Lake is owned by Helga Janson and is occassionally seen in the ring, Helga calls her Ophelia amongst other things!
