GREYFLAX SORREL

Sorrel was the first Greyflax Deerhound and we thought one puppy would be easy ro raise, how wrong we were. At one week of age she was gettinjg so much milk she developed cronic colic and ended up screaming in pain. The vet felt we could loose her as tinys system wouldnt cope with the pain so we learnt to wind her. I was taught how to inject her with Buscopan, a muscle relasant and the life saver was my receptionist at work bought us a bottle of infracol, shed been using it on her first grandchild. It was a miracle and as soon as she was up and on her feet we never looked back.

We had some success with her in the ring and although she was never going to be top flight there was a lot to like about her.

She was mated to Kilbourne Quantam , just once on day 22 of her season and had 14 puppies. We kept 9 - 3 bitches and 6 dogs and from that came Ch Greyflax Skylark.
